VERY COOL CHOP PROJECT!!!! I think you really have something there. I think you could make a little coin doing this mod for brother XJ owners. As soon as you come up with an ingenius way to seal up the back of the cockpit, with something removable I would consider doing it. I love the open look but living here in Wa., I like being able to get inside and turn my heater on in the wintertime, too. VERY VERY COOL LOOKING JEEP!!!

i have come up with an ingenious way lol^ not sure how well it would work. i got the roll bar from a yj really cheap and with a little shortening(4 inches) the main hoop fits perfectly.

it even allows the back seat to still work. i dont like how the rear supports are so i plan on cutting them off and building a rear cage off of the hoop...
anyway i would assume a yj windjammer would seal off the cab well enough to let the kickass cherokee heat do its job

as far as doing this for other xj owner i dont think i would. i dont like working on other peoples stuff. i dont mind lending a helping hand or loaning out tools but i hate being asked to do something without the person there. and i would never accept money for helping another jeeper

thanks man i really like to here that. i am not building this jeep just to be a beat up trail rig. its gonna see lots of offroad but i am also building it to drive around. i want to be able to cruise down to the shore in it and take it to partys and take it camping. i dont want the cops to see it and think "wow thats a death trap im gonna give him a ticket" i kinda want it to look like just another lifted jeep to the average person.

This chop project inspired me... If I ever get the money (which I think I will). I'm thinking of getting kind of an urban camo paint job on a rig similar to this. Some nicely placed graffiti (still working on how I'd get that bit done...) that doesn't get on the windows/tires/etc. Would actually look pretty slick on a black background. Love the rig so far. That thing looks like it was built to eat rocks. Go get some mother earth on that beastie
