thanks a lot guys, i've been chipping away at it. Mounted my air horn, mounted my pull valve and ran one of my airlines to the horn. I did also get my pressure switch in today, even spun it onto the pump and wired it as well. I'm waiting on a bed box to mount the pump and tank in, so its not quite ready to go.
Cool man, thanks!

I never realized they sold shackles. Those things are awesome.

Brought the MJ home today... not without issues though as this Jeep needed to remind me that this project is definitely not over!

having issues keeping it running at a reasonable temp. I had to remove the thermostat to get it home. Also the rear drums are a bit tight, I could feel them dragging the whole ride home. It definitely needs an alignment, proper air pressure and the tires/rims balanced. Oh yea and Seat Belts Seat Belts Seat Belts! Now that it is home though, i should be able to make good progress.

Story of this jeeps life.... sitting in the garage and getting nowhere

motor will not run and a decent temp. 3rd thermostat, and now its 2nd temp gauge sensor... cannot figure out why it just pegs out with or w/out the fan on...

Fearing this motor may be useless...

The hood on this MJ isnt "dent free" so it has become my test subject for some hood vents...

Hey, nice build and certainly interesting. I thought about getting a Comanche but ended up with Comanche fenders for my Cherokee instead. LOL

Water pump OK?

Positive you don't have any air in the cooling system? If you can't get it running, can I buy that Spectre cowl intake off you? Hahaha!

Love the MJ build, I'll eventually find me one!

With not much else to do i decided to pull the roll bar out and weld it up. With it originally a bolt-together design, i know its not strong enough in case of an actual roll-over but i'd rather it be welded up and solid rather than having slop between joints.

I still need to bolt it down and re-attach the light bar portion but those will come along shortly.

I also ordered up some goodies this morning. Got a pack or Red accent led switches, Red led "194" bulbs for the dash and center console and my compressor for the OBA setup to push some air to the semi horn.

Ill throw some pics up when everything comes in and i have all the red goodies installed.
for the sound at did any trimming need to be done
