yeah i use those one to and the nice thing is you have two holes to use so if the last is to high use the next down and it will drop you about an inch and i am thinking if you drill the center up top between the sides that it would be a good area to put the grease fitting
i was thinking arrod here.

Go with the shackle your leafs will thank you trust me. Even if you do not make it greaseable (which should not be hard) Use them. I had a set just like them and no grease fitting and the bushings did just fine for well over 100,000 miles. But if you do put the fitting in make sure it has the right bushing or the fitting will just push the grease out the sides. The bushing splits in the middle and has little spaces for the grease to get in the middle or you could put a hole in the bushing that will help the grease go to the center also. Good Luck

Yeah near the tape line inside the protection of the steel on the sides. That is where I would put it plus it will be out of the way and east to get to. Keep the pics coming I have the same shackles and I am thinking of doing this as well.

1. he lost control & almost flip the truck
2. dont know how he break the steering hose
maybe because the lines were rusted
