Did you detach that brace that helps hold the header panel up so you could screw the mounts of your bumper into the frame?

i just cut the them 1/2"and bolt them in place, so the bumper mounts can be bolt in place.
The only thing i couldn´t figure out were to bolt is my track-bar. Because hits a bumper bolts every bump in the road. So i dont use one

How much was your SYE and where did you get it? I want to lift mine 2 more inches so i would be sitting at 5 but so far I havent found any decent deals on a good SYE kit. Nice builds by the way! some sick lookin XJs you got.

91laredo
i buy this SYE and didnt see was for tj&yj wrangler only
i hope fits on the XJ if not ill .
http://www.teraflex.biz/products/231...-wrangler.html

i´m using 2"spacers & a 3"rancho lift kit total 5 inches.
But i have the roughcountry 4.5 lift kit in storage. and i want to go 6.5" using the front RC springs & lower arms, and in the rear the RC shakles.
what do you think??

Default be clean

i know its not powder coated but, looks better than 20 years of rust.
take some time to paint 2 more spacers, some hi-lift hardware and take a ride to the beach.
definitely need at least going 6.5" and front & rear bump stops.
