Even with a 3" lift, I was still rubbing under full lock on the lower front of the bumper/ air dam. I decided to trim them down to free up room. I used a propane torch to heat up a utility knife. It took patience, but I went slowly and it turned out well. Then I put a sanding drum on my Dremel tool to clean it up and get it as symmetrical as possible.

It should tide me over until I can get a proper bumper. The more I live with it, the more I like it. I want to get some d-ring shackles to finish it off though.

Stay tuned for the Zone dis-co's coming soon!

Been a while since I've posted anything. Since my last update I have done a few things here and there... I put some Zone Offroad sway-bar disconnects on the front-end and then did some wheeling at the Cliffs Offroad Park in Marseilles, IL. I was really amazed at how capable these things are—even with open diffs and A/T tires. I had a complete blast.

the look of the trimmed stock front bumper is starting to grow on me too. Found out real quick, however that you can't survive in the wild with no recovery points on your front bumper. I added a receiver hitch and D-Ring shackle on the front end. I really like the way it looks and it's completely functional. Now I may get a receiver winch that I can use in the front or back. Who knows... it's always a work in progress.
