in the army my first drill instructor told us if you ever get skid marks
take them of and use them as a rag while you working on something
that way you can cover your tracks and say its dirt or grease

Looks great!, makes me so excited for installing my RE 3.5 with Monotubes on this upcoming thursday.

 

Don't mind at all! They were 78 dollars each, and 11 dollars shipping for each tire, so $356 for all 4. I was pretty skeptical about buying re-treads, but I had read nothing but good reviews about the tires, and for the price I couldn't resist. I am completely satisfied with the tires! They mounted and balanced beautifully and they ride great. Since XJ's aren't exactly hot rods I can't tell any difference in accelleration, but the way I can stop now suggests they offer way better grip even on pavement than my all terrains did! They ripped it up in a recent snowstorm we had here too, I can't wait to get them offroad. Needless to say, I highly recommend them!

Also - you may want to specify when you order them that you want them mounted on Wrangler MT/R carcasses, or BFG's, if you prefer, I wanted mine on MT/R carcasses so they wouldn't obviously be re-treads and the MT/R tires are great, but they told me they also put the MT/G tread on BFG carcassess so just make sure you specify with them first so you know exactly what you're getting!

Looks great, nice attention to detail.

I know its a little late but I bought a brand new 33 gallon Craftsman compressor from Sears that came with an impact, air wrachet, hammer, and hose for $290. But, electric impacts are nice and you dont have to hear a loud as compressor and wait for the air pressure to build up.

 

Just be careful using your normal sockets on that inpact cause there not rated for it and you could blow one apart. Other than that the jeep looks great nice job

 

Haha I know, but I didn't want to spend any more money on impact sockets. I blew 2 of them apart and it felt goood!
