Default 00 xj DD

This is my first xj build, starting stock with my 2000 xj classic 4.0 auto.

So there she is. Bought it in October for $2,600 and since then I've been broke so I haven't done much to it. When I first got it it had stupid impractical flimsy step bars on the side and I took them off right away. Sorry no pics of the step bar but trust me its something you don't want to see.

I just recently sold my over engineered piece of European garbage for $1,700 so I'm no longer broke!

So while I was broke I ripped out the old aftermarket head unit and old cardboard speakers and replaced them with some good quality pioneers

Then wired up my 12" pioneer sub to my 800 watt

So other than a new system she sits stock...for now

What's to come.

-lift 4.5 inches (prolly full leafs because the old ones are sad and rusty and I live in Plowtown u.s.a. Aka Buffalo)

-35's on cragar D's

-re gear axles to 4.88

-possible engine mods

-trim fenders, fab up some bumpers, and some personal style

This thread will be pretty slow until spring because I HATE working in the cold and it's very cold up here

Here's a snowdrift I discovered in my back seat today. Don't know if its cause the boor wasn't closed all the way or a bad seal

So until spring ill be saving up for the build and stocking up on parts, while trying to keep this build up to date.

Just got to save a little more for tires and 4.88 gears then I can lift her and start trimming the fenders to fit 35s

Just got my steelies in today, a lot bigger than I imagined lol starting to put into perspective how big the 35s are gonna be. My lift kit should be here tomorrow and meanwhile I'm on the hunt for tires, I don't want to pay $800 for them new so I'm trying to find used tires for cheaper with 50% tread or over.

My lift kit is in and I bought bedliner to cover my axles to keep them protected as well as make them look clean. I'm also going to check out some 35" monster mudder tires that I found on Craigslist for $400 tomorrow. They have a lot of tread left on them and they come on rims that i can sell and for that price it's a steal, but idk how the old school tread will look on my clean 00' xj

Here's some pics of the tires
