Ill help for free lol. Just cause its worth being in the process.
But do not look to me for knowledge on the matter, I've always paid for it, never had hands on lift installation experience.
But what knowledge I do have I hope could be helpful

I think an 8 inch lift needs all the attention it can get to tell you the truth. Doing 2 big processes at the same time makes things difficult. And good luck getting a grinder in your door

Dont see any reason a grinder with a new blade wont reach. Seen pics of other guys using them on that body style worse come to worse take a sawzal to it

Haha go ahead and use a grinder if you want. I know a grinder wouldnt work for me and was gonna cut into my doors. Maybe older doors are different. But either way you want to do it, you dont want to do it if the jeeps on jacks and jackstands while messing with the axles and everything.


Also, aaron are you doing an sye or upgrading your steering?

Figured we would do it after the lift kit was done and our hinges are a bit different then yours
