If that's all I have your solution..
#1- cut fenders with saw zaw (solves scrubbing)
#2- buy a hypertech or bulldog program (solves MPG)

31's aren't the problem.
Less skinny pedal, or realize you drive a Jeep not a civic.

Wow I think you have bigger issues than tires with that mpg. On my truck with a 360v8 and 39.5" tires I'm getting 9mpg (using hypertech max energy that is). So running a inline6 with 31" tires you should be doing at least 12mpg I would imagine

8mpg, if that is all you are really getting you got something wrong. I will have to tell one of my friends. He has a 93 xj with 32s on it getting 13mpg and thinks his gets bad mpgs. I got 31s on my Grand and get 16mpg. Do you do a lot of city driving? That is the only way I would think your mpgs are that low.

Yeah I barely noticed a difference in gas mileage when I went to 31s.

Ya I drive from brittney woods area to north chase bussiness park and to walmart once a week for gas. I think my O2 sensor is going bad but IK my map sensor keeps going bad for some reason. Iv put 3 or 4 map sensors in it and noticed a bit of a mpg gain every time I change it then my mpgs drop again :/. I saw 19mpg for like 2 weeks before I started getting 8mpg. The motor was punched 30 over 3angle valve job port polished and I think thats it. The prior owner did all this work. I have upgraded the Injectors new air filter plugs wires dist. cap and rotor button. Other then that the jeep is stock I have noticed that the jeep tends to run rich at times and havent figured the cause of this out yet but oh well.
