If by chance the magnet inside that is pulling on your magnet is on a wheel or gear by turning the transmission(ie drive a foot) maybe the two won't be lined up.

I'm a going to drop the cross member, take out the CPS, an manually turn the crank to hopefully get it out.

I bought me a new socket >
