Yes, but its a Flexible magnet. Not a screw driver. It hooked onto the magnet gearing in the transmission and it ain't coming out

There is no magnet on the end of that screwdriver big/powerful enough for you to not be able to remove it. It's got to be caught on something. I agree with andy, eat some more wheaties and try again. If that doesn't work, its deff caught.

Remove the CPS and it'll come out. If you don't you're going to break it anyway.

If you turned the transmission would the magnet no longer be in the same place on the inside?

I drop sockets all the time. There are 2 stuck inside my frame rail. Lol

I would love a shot at that thing, i love a good challenge.
