Craigslist Ad: http://wilmington.craigslist.org/cto/2348022160.html

Got this 2 years ago, and i have beat it up
It has been my trail beater, and wifes Daily Driver (go figure)
Got to say i love Jeeps it has kep up with me.
I put $2,000 in the Engine last feburary (2010), new EVERYTHING, pistons, seals, every gaskets, shaved heads, radiator, coolant reservoir, etc... (it was a rebuild). I Just put 235/75/15 on it not too long ago, the front tries still got 80% tred easly and back 50% and has a spare. i put rims on it from an 86 model cherokee. i do have the aluminum 5 stars as well (5 rims of both sets), and i have 4 black 5 stars. there is dents, dings, and scratches from the woods. there is rust in the rear end (not from me, other wise there would be none). so i replaced the rear leaf springs. 4wd DOES work. odo says 159XXX rebuild was was at 150xxx.
THE BAD
Wheather stripping needs replacement (all of it leaks at a car was, but not with regular rain)
No antenna (was broken off to brake in my jeep)
Major cosmetic damage but nothing makes it undriveable
No radio, but is wired for subs. (radio, subs stolen when broke into)
Dashboard lights went out april 17th this year
No rear bumper
Automatic locks dont work, windows do.
THE GODD
Engine only has 9,000 miles on it
Inline 6, 4.0 4x4 (Which works)
Have 14 rims with tires for this thing (4 on it with a spare in hatch)
Replaced Rear Leaf Springs
Is a Daily Driver.
and what ever else makes you optimistic.

$2300 OBO

but $2300 is a good price. i put $2000 in the engine, and the body is good for $800 seperate in its condition. i have had 3 $2000 offers, but im not going with that price unless i have to, i do not "need" to sell so ill keep it until a $2100-$2300 offer comes and keep using it.

i would jump on 2 grand right away if i was you. you usually don't get your money back for engine work... we've got a whole bunch k5s with less than 10k miles on the motor and they all sell for under 2 grand. some of them are from people that are known for good engine work. i'm not trying to bash you man, i just see what they sell for. i recently bought a 97 2 door 5 speed with absolutely no rust, no dents, c8.25 for 2 grand. the motor has 197k and i was planning to drive it until it blows so that i can stroke it, but from the way it runs, i can tell that i'm gonna see 250k before i see a stroker. in xjs, fresh motor doesn't mean much because even if u buy one with high miles, you'll put many more miles on it, even if u abuse it.

i didnt take it as a bash no worries, but ill take $2000 if i need it, but im not at the "need it" point yet. so ill keep it for the North End at Carolina Beach and the casual muddin around town for now. but there will be some teenager eager to buy it for a toy, and or someone want to make it a RC and only care about the enginer being good and rest doesnt matter.
