I need anyones help who has access to a junkyard or anyone who has a 4cylinder jeep cherokee thats 4wd they are parting out. Or just a front hp axle with 4.10 gears

Im looking to buy a front dana 30 hp out of an xj with 4.10 gears

Im willing to drive to you pick it up if its in anywhere within around 400 miles of virginia beach. ill pay up to 300 dollars for this axle if its in great working condition and complete.

dude if your willing to spend $300 and at least two tanks of fuel just get you axle re-geared

 

Dude I have a front axle out of my 91 parts truck that all you have to do is weld the passenger lca bracket back on.

 

does it have 4.10s?

and i was thinking about the regear. priced it out

400 for all parts
100-200 for labor i cant do it

bolt in axle for 300 that i could do. willing to pay that for a top notch axle with 4.10s

 

My bad I think I have 3.73 towing package. The 4.10 were mostly in the older Xj's with the 2.5

 

IDK $500 for new gears installed vs a used axle that will need u-joints, brakes, fluid, alignment ext your at the same cost at the end of the day

 

its cool, yeah they come in all 4 cylinder xjs with 4wd. i was lucky to find two 8.25 29 splines with factory 4.10s sold the other one, now im just waiting to swap this one under. just have to either find a front or regear, would really like to just find a bolt in option.

 

What year did the 8.25 come out of?

 

1999, i also took the mirrows so i could have fold in mirrows on mine, also i was missing one from trail damage haha

 

Same here I have a 91 and got the mirrors off a 97

 

ugh i want 4.10s for the front axle so bad. might just have to order them along with the aussie locker this upcoming week when i get the rest of my taxes back and get it done with.

I have a rear xj d44 with disc brakes and alloy axle shafts for sale. Did I mention 4.10's. I would take 550 for that.

I also have a d44 lock right too I will sell that for an additional 150

 

nice find yall, im just looking for the front axle and my pick and pull around here doesnt EVER have any.

pick me up an extra of the hp with 4.10s or ill buy that one if you dont want it hahh

 

is regearing it yourself not even an option? u don't have a buddy that can give you a hand? because it'll probably be a loooong time before you can find a d30 with 4.10s for under $300.
