I have a dana 30 with 4.10 gearing for sale if anyone is interested. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f71/lp...0/#post2872782
I have a question for you guys... I'm about to move there and I just bought an XJ that needs to get inspected. The Driver's side rocker panel is rusted out. Will they fail me because of that or no? Thanks.
Thats the only pic I have right now.

Hello all. Not sure if this is the right place for this but it seems the most active of the VA threads so here goes... I was in the Pick-A-Part in Fredricksburg yesterday and a guy in the truck/Jeep area told me there was another junk yard about 5 miles further down Rt 1 and then down a side road. He called it Miss Betty's. When I got home I tried to find it on Google but came up empty handed. I know he wasn't referring to the other Pick-A-Part up in Widewater because that is much further away and in the opposite direction he indicated. Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks

I think bettys yard is actually called Fredericksburg salvage or something like that.. take a left out of pick a part, and go till you see a place on your left that sells stone. there is a road right on the other side of the stone place, take this road all the way down till you go over the train tracks. bettys is on your left immediately after the tracks. BUT, her prices are pretty much guaranteed to be double that of pick a part, plus her inbred goon employees will hassle you, probably accuse you of stealing, and try to search your truck. its happened to me twice. my advice: **ck betty, go somewhere else.
take a left out of pick a part and go to the light at fas mart, on your left, you will see a couple big cargo containers in the corner lot, this is actually a "junk yard" for lack of a better term. these guys don't have much, but theyre friendly.
if that fails: leave pick a part, go to the light at fas mart and go left. keep truckin a while, the second church you come to has a white roof, and a road running right down the side of it. take this road. a couple miles down on your right is a junkyard called monster joes. its a u-pick, but they don't have price lists, they charge a dollar a pound, with a $10 minimum. this is the best place to go for small stuff, if they have what you need. this place is run by shanks towing. for what its worth: id rather drag my car down the street on a chain, with 4 flat tires, before id have shanks tow anything of mine.
hope this helps.
