Coming from the Jacksonville area.

Just to feel out what I'm getting myself into, how serious of trails are out there? My xj is mostly stock with a 2in spacer/shackle lift and 31's. Not trying to spend a weekend trying to recover my rig.

I haven't been but I've heard that you can do almost everything in 2wd. But there are some serious trails. A lot o people go stock you should be fine.

There are easy, medium, difficult, and 1 extremely difficult. Easy and medium can be done in 2wd. I went anywhere i wanted to last time on street tires and unlocked. Bottomed out on a rock once. But you'll be fine im sure. The trick is airing down your tires. That lets 'em grab very well. Last time i went an older man on a stock xj was beasting daniel (extremely hard) if that tells you anything. He skipped some obstacles but other than being locked he was completely stock and amazed everybody. Lol.

Im not locked on 33's now and i plan on doing everything except maybe daniel.

FYI air at the outpost is free 24hours. You just have to push the button.

Lol. And I'm assuming that packing a lunch for the day trip would be the best idea?
