Rear swaybar can also knock or clunk when going over speed bumps. The front and rear sway bars are known for this.

I would be really impressed if I could hear the rear sway bar clunking all the way from the landfill haha. I removed it when I installed the lift. The rear brakes were just reworked due to a leaking wheel cylinder. The mechanic said the drums needed to be turned but I disagreed. They didnt say anything looked out of the ordinary. Hopefully I will get a chance to look at it this weekend.

Ha, my rear sway doesn't make noise anymore either, it's in the scrap pile. But it did work very well when I had it on without the front sway on and with soft leaf springs.

I am at a loss without being able to ride in your jeep or inspect.

There is a very knowledgeable and helpful forum member in VB. Also involved in HRJC 'Hampton Roads Jeep Club'. If interested I will give you his name..

Yeah that sounds good. I switched cars with my wife for the summer because she is a teacher and is out for the summer. Her car gets better mpgs and has AC so it was a wise choice. Because of this I haven't really had a chance to work on it more.
