Hey man Ill help dont know for how long though are you doing it at the hobbie shop on oceana. Also dude word for the wise!!!!!! Go buy pb blaster or something equivelent and spray the crap out of all the shock bolts (will save a lot of time) starting today! Especially the rear upper shock mount bolts.

Guiness GOOODDDD

I literally sprayed every major bolt being removed for my lift twice a week for two months before my lift kit, and I didn't break one bolt, not even the shock ones. PB blaster is god.

yeah i've been using pb blaster since i ordered the kit two weeks ago now. havent hit up the rear upper shock bolts tho. i'ma go spray them today. ima have to use a straw or something to get em' good.
at first the plan was to put it on at the base hobby shop but then my buddy offered his garage to do it in but he had to cancel on me for this past weekend so now im not sure what i'm going to do. i'm working in norfolk now too so i cant just get to oceana whenever.

you guys that buy cherokees down here are lucky. All my cherokees have come from the north east and the salt on the roads in winter destroys these things. I got lucky on my current xj, i didnt pb blast anything and the only thing i broke was the upper shock mounts.

Mine was bought and driven in New Jersey from Dec 2000 to April 2008, and there is very little rust. Just have to take care of it, mine has under body coating.
