haha well shes far from the scrap yard. I want to keep it but at this time I still can't figure out a misfire and rough idle, that only occurs at idle. I also cant figure out how to get the dam parking brake to work on the disc swap. Gona need a new gear box eventually cause mines leaking, and the ac hasnt worked in years.

The parking brake I just cant figure out, if anybody has any experience with the ZJ disc swap I could sure use help getting the parking brake to work. I have all the parts in place it just either doesnt work strong enough to hold the vehicle, or it drags with the brake off.

When i can talk the ol lady into letting me buy another toy. Right now im working on a 71 f100 shortbed. i REALLY miss my xj and the fun i had in it. The upside is there is income coming into the house again so i might be able to talk her into it a little easier now lol.

yep free is awesome, i guess i got for free because the way it looked when i got it, its white, but my fiancees grandpa had it before, and he never washed it, it sat under the trees it was black and nasty from the sap had the green mildew on it too, washed it down good peeled the gray rubber molding off the the bottom, repainted all the gray areas black, repainted the faded bumper corners and fender flares black as well, the black and white looks alot better than before, i had too remove the b.s. bush chene '04 bumper sticker, and other political bumper stickers. removing the "dead skins" sticker off the back window made it run a whole lot better lol. i did a number on the filthy inside too. this free jeep of mine doesnt look like a free one anymore! well i have yet to get some pics of it up on here, or just ride down s. battlefield past the water treatment plant, youll see it to the right in the driveway!

MPJAI is an ok group of guys. the are very much a thread friendly group. i have been part of them for several years and love to take care of there own. the website is smaller and slower than CF since well they are local only so dont always expect a fast answer and they mostly are of the wrangler types but i would love to see more of us XJ/ZJ owners

When you're down here there's a great club. Hrjc.org. its free and all. Good group of people with a handful of xjs.

I'm a mid Atlantic jeeper, I grew up in VA Beach, and now live in Richmond. I've got a Cherokee that is pretty stock for right now...until i get out of college( which is soon). I have done a handful of upgrades that haven't included the suspension but I'm still tinkering when i can.
