Monday or Tuesday I'm headed to Carova to jeep the trails and bike into False Cape. Maybe fly the RC plane at Penny's Hill sand dune. Arrive there about 7am.

Here are pics of False Cape State Park, VA. At its southern border with NC.

If any of you guys enjoy being on a bicycle for a couple hours, you can access the northern end of the park from Sandbridge and Back Bay Wildlife Refuge. Terrain is flat, hardpack dirt+gravel, some forest covered. The parking area for Back Bay is also a great place to go to the beach because of its seclusion. This is where the gate is that used to have vehicle access to Carova. It's only about 15 -20 miles to NC.

a place to wheel around here? good one, all the spots are now infested with cops, it's now a russian roulette game game weather ya can go wheelin without gettin busted. The closest place to legally wheel in starr motors in suffolk or corolla beach in NC, i know a legalish place but the jeeps gotta have stock non-loud exhaust

Wheeling season has begun here in Carolina. There is much more terrain accessible when the hoards of tourists are not here.

Hey folks, i know this is 6 months down the road, but i know some folks like to know planned trips well in advance so they can either fix their rig, save up for the trip, or just tell boss they need that day off. I'm planning a corolla beach trip on July 10th this year; i plan on meeting up at the border station at 8am and hopefully rolling out by 8:30am. just figured i'd give yall a heads up on a future beach trip,

Default Carova & Swan Beach

^ We should go next week. There is much fun to be had this time of year. I avoid the northern beaches during the summer months.

^ That is true, there are sometimes bare breasts to be seen on the beaches.

Default End of season

Last call for wheeling the fun trails and beach at the VA/NC boarder. Our season ends just before Easter. Once tourist season starts there is no more 'fun' wheeling to be had.
