Default Rear Leafs Help

Hey guys I wasn't able to get my rear leafs installed this past Saturday (THanks a ton No_rdplz for your help!) We weren't able to get the leafs in that day. I'm trying to have the Jeep ready for the OBX trip on Saturday and I was wondering if anybody could help me get the leafs installed Wednesday or Thursday morning. I've got to work at one both days and I'd really like to have this all buttoned up as soon as possible because it sucks driving this thing right now with the nose up in the air! I don't have a jack or stands or big enough wrenches or ratchet either. I don't mind buying those wrenches but I don't have the cash for the jack and stands.

If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it. If not it's ok too cause Matt said he'd help me on Friday but he already helped so much I don't want to impose on him again if I don't have to. Thanks a ton!

You might want to call your local autozone and see if they loan out jacks and stands. I just saved $40 by not purchasing coil spring compressors, because they rent em out for $40, but once you return em you get your full $40 back! It's worth a shot, ya know?

Either way though, I know having a second set of hands simplifies everything. Me and my dad have been working on my XJ and I can't imagine doing the work without another person there.

Yeah it would help having a second hand to help out as I apply pressure to the axle to make sure the eye gets into the shackle alright. Thanks for the idea though! I could go to the in laws... I'd still need to get a 13/16 socket and box end wrench to do that... Just not sure I wanna head that way! lol

I really wish I felt comfortable enough to drive it that far. the tracbar still needs to be relocated and I get some crazy death wobble right now. I also am ordering some dakota rear brake lines since nobody seems to have them in stock. they should be in tomorrow.

And I don't blame you for not traveling to work on vehicles. Especially that far! I think you're like 1-1.5 hours away from here.

It is all about the tool selection and not having to pack them up... My tools are here.. everything from plasma cutter/ oxy fuel torches, and welders. You never know what you need till you start a job.. at the house.. I know I have what I need

Plus tools seem to wander when you take them places if you aren't very careful.

Thanks again Matt you're a lifesaver. See you Friday.
