Build a website and they will come. 4 friends and myself did this 10 yrs ago and now we have a local Jeep club that has over 1K members. I still like the tech and knowledge that I find here. Good luck in your start !

I founded the Triad Trail Junkies in October of 2010, started with friends and has grown, granted I had a good many friends who wheeled, but we have over 20 members now, we do volunteer trail clean ups, monthly meet and greets, have shirts, stickers, coozies, etc...
Its been a lot of work, but I have no regrets.
There are alot of other clubs in NC that are badass, but the by laws and rules just were not for us, so we created our own club.

thanks guys, thats pretty cool. i know a lot of guys on the east coast of NC want to off road and on Lejeune there's a ton of Marines with lifted jeeps and trucks so theres a lot of potential. i'm just happy to be starting a club and have a group of guys to wheel with.

If you guys ever feel like making a haul to the Triad, we have some trails on a members land we could host a get together at, we host our meets there, and are adding new trails as we can.

We got little car clubs here and i'm in a 4x4 club called "Carolina Mud Addicts" and we did a car wash for donations to a guys uncle who has a problem with his arm/hand but, they never really go mudding/trail riding alot...which is kinda gay to have a 4x4 and not offroad..like of course there are all the city kids who won't but, they talked crap to me and were like "you need to wash that muddy thing" and 1 boys dad told me he was gunna charge me 10 bucks next time he saw it muddy...I said the day you get 10 bucks outta me for a dirty jeep is the day i've gone crazy and won the lottery..lol but, were supposedly go to watch(I don't know about compete) in a mud bog down in SC next weekend I think??
