Oceana trail is officially closed. Due to an increase of people going there and the land getting tore up they decided to post up some no trespassing signs last week. If you're caught, you will get 2 fines: trespassing on federal land and willful destruction of federal property. I was told that more could be more brought against any violators, but that those 2 fines are a definite. There aren't any gates at the entrances, but let's be smart and stay off the trail.

Yeah unfortunately ppl who do dthe illegal stuff get thrown in with the ppl who insist on doing legal wheeling.

I stand by what I posted in another post.

UNLESS YOU HAVE SPECIFIC PERMISION DONT DO IT. DOESNT MATTER IF YOUR FRIENDS/BOYZ HAVE PERMISSION DOESNT MEAN YOU DO.

ALSO VERIFY WITH PARK RANGER/ FORRESTRY DEPARTMENT IF SOME SAYS IT IS PUBLIC LAND.... MIGHT BE PUBLIC, COULD BE A WILDLIFE PERSERVE

I'll be honest, those signs, though not posted up securely, are hard to miss. There's one right at the main trail entrance so no one can say they didn't see it. I just hate the fact that people are hurting our sport by going back there still.

You live at the beach... if you want wheeling move inland, you want sand and surf and girls in bikinis everyday, sacrifice wheeling.

I live out in the country.. and I have to travel just as far to go wheeling. It is at least 3-4 hrs for me to go anywhere.

So if you want to go wheeling buy land, or go to some place legal.
