I was wondering if there are any good placed to go off roading in the Blacksburg/ Montgomery County area? I go to Virginia Tech, so anywhere around there really. Also, would anyone happen to know any good places to hunt in that area as well?

There are plans being made to open an offroad park very close to Blacksburg. I was sworn to secrecy though LOL!
Check out Sinking Creek or New River Valley Jeep Club. Those are the two VT Jeep clubs.
No offense to anyone at VA Offroad, I'm on there also, but they are mostly just Roanoke. If you think your rig can handle Potts Mountain and you want to wheel it, check out SWVA4WD.

Don't forget Potts Mountain Jeep Trail, north of there. I was just down at VT yesterday helping my son to get his Cherokee running. Jon, is Potts open with the gov shut down going on?
