oh, and note to everyone else: Don't spin your tires or use 2wd on the beach. You will get a stupid ticket for it.

I had a great time, was a fun time meeting everybody and getting to have some fun with the jeeps. Looks like I broke my electric fan in half, so I'm looking for a new one if any body knows where I can get one cheap.

chesterfield auto parts. or Circle Auto recycling are usually pretty cheap.

I say its time for you to upgrade to a taurus fan.

I don't buy electrical parts used, never seen it work out well. I have been thinking of doing the mechanical fan delete and using a taurus fan, but after how things went yesterday I am quite happy with the cooling system. Even on the beach she didn't go over 210 once. Ill be happy just to replace that broken fan and spend the money on the new IAC I need.

I heard about that from the others while working on Trask's lower radiator hose. How bad is it?

Also, I was thinking about the Taurus fan swap 'cuz I've heard nothing but good for it, but I don't know anything about actually doing it. Is it a replacement for the aux fan or the mechanical? If it's the mechanical, what's involved in the swap? What year(s) Taurus works?

yupp, Sure did. Because I got bogged down while turning around(was in 2wd) and used the go pedal to get myself moving again and once I was moving I let off the gas. according to the officer I was "tearing up the beach" and "the beach isn't the baja races" because apparently I was doing donuts.....oh and did I mention I was going like 10mph or less during all of this? yeah its stupid, I have every intention of fighting it. The Park Ranger, not only was very unprofessional, but he also accused me of drinking, and proceeded to request to search my vehicle after I passed a sobriety test with flying colors and blew .00 on a breathalyzer. I let him search the Jeep, he didn't find anything and then he and the other officer had a 20 minute conversation with each other before writing us tickets. They were generally just ******** and give me even more reason to dislike law enforcement.

yeah, the Yota dude got one too, for the same exact BS as me. Apparently if you us 2wd on the beach and have any type of wheel spin its a traffic violation. who knew? Next time I'll make sure I stay in 4wd the whole time. Even though thats wayyy too easy.

Yeah. They are pretty picky about the beaches here. Even though sometimes you have to spin your wheels a bit even in 4wd. I drove it pretty easy but there were a few hills that I had to hit the gas a bit to make sure I made it all the way over.

Law Enforcement gets pretty bored around here most of the time.

Dan(yota guy) also got a ticket for open containers in his truck that was empty and that he was just taking out for trash. he also blew and passed the breathalyzer so i dont get why that gave a crap. anyways i say next time we hit corolla. just for a different scene. dont worry the cops are just as bad there i know personally.
