yeah im going to have to do the hack and tap since my drive line vibs apperently are too bad. i even replaced the ujoints but was too much for the seal i guess. im going to get on the horn in the morning and see if they can hook me up with a kit asap and replace the seal.
hey pat are you talking about the whole case? that would be nice since mine has so many miles on it. im going to do what i can to get there though trust me on that one!

Oregon Inlet, noonish is the plan. Nothing owed. Just an afternoon beach run/lunch thing. Could use a second grill I think. If you have one. (if mtparker can't make it) although 3 grills couldn't hurt lol.
Sides like tater salad, mac salad and the like. Chips n snacks. Another folding table would probably be helpful.
Bring yourself and whatever food items you can. Just make sure to post here in the thread what you decide to bring so everyone has an idea.
For the folks north of the NC border they are meeting up before they cross the border. Not sure if there is a plan to meet up here on the beach other that down at Oregon Inlet.
Not sure about cb's or channels or phone numbers.

I can bring a table to use, soon as I figure out how to tie it to my roof rake safely. Still planning on coming, though friend count is unsure. I still will be bringing plates, and drinks if not some tater salad also. Where are we all meeting at Sat morning?

awesome news you all. got the jeep fixed. found some 1.5x1.5x3/16 tubing and just made a quick drop. so the seal is replaced the vibrations are a thing of the past.
yeah i can shoot you a text. if im thinking right we will be taking 168 and taking the bypass for the toll on the last exit. do you know where that new home depot is off of i wanna say hillcrest? theres a gas station there too. i can give you a call before we get there. how long will it take you to get to that point so i know when to call you.

Yes a whole case with only 20K miles on it. Was installed on a jeep woody and I parted out. The kid that had it.. was a dummy. Put a jasper motor in it, and a delaer installed t-case...
then flunked out of college so parents sold rig cheap.... long story short we bought it from the guy.. who bought it from the parents

I bought the axle off you, I'll make sure to give you a call when we're going through the toll to give you a heads up, if you wanna sit by the side of the road and wait for us to roll by that'd probably be the best option. We should be pretty easy to spot. If not...just look for the doorless, bumperless 2-door XJ with cut fenders.

Easiest place to meet would be right there at that gas station right on the va/nc border. The Border Station. lol.
