damn, man. I'm planning a trip to Cape Lookout with my Jeep real soon, maybe a week or two from now. anyone interested in coming along? I need another Jeep to come out, so as not to get stuck out there. The ferry prices are pretty expensive, but Lookout is a great place.

I'm on Cape Hatteras but will not be able to make it down.
At 15 psi you should not have ANY issues getting stuck. Just stay away from the water as the tide come in and avoid any 'orange' sand that is full of shells, often found near the water, these are sinkholes during an incoming tide.
And most importantly, never spin the tires.
A hi-lift can act as a winch and a buried spare tire is a great sand anchor to pull from. By following simple rules, getting stuck is impossible unless you are in the surf zone.
