Wow, then they just closed it, cuz i talked with some people on Thursday. Well, I guess we can open it back up to Corolla then. I just really hate dealing with the idiots there.

You're lucky Nick. I've seen too many there, but the beach is A LOT nicer there. I'll change the location to Corolla just so we have more room to run.

Any others interested??? We'll do Corolla to change it up from last year and there are still a few other things needed. A portable grill would be perfect if anyone has one. Also, some more sides are needed - tater salad, baked beans, etc.

I've been there alot, I go every year in november and rent a beach house for a week. Its really nice up there and plenty of beach go drive on and tons of trails behind the dunes.. that area is actually called Carova its north of Corrola.. its where rt12North paved road runs out and ends right on to the Beach and from there all the way up to the Virginia state line is Carova Beach.

Damn, too bad it wasn't a few weeks later. We're renting a house down at Southern Shores near Corolla the last week in August. We'll have 2 XJ's down there. Would have loved to meet and hang with you guys. Have a great time. I've heard all good things about OBX.

OBX is only 2-3 hours for most of us, so we might be able to put together another run Lyon. What weekend dates specifically you gonna be there?

Keep the weight out of the back and air down to about 10psi. Stay in the tire tracks of someone in front of you, keep a light, smooth throttle and you'll be fine. Come on down!
