eventually you just give up and let them crawl up your nose and in your ears and let them eat you alive pretty much they don't really don't really do to much and won't follow you inside. but yeah they suck. we call them noseeums and the only thing that has ever worked for them has been a mixture of original listerene (like the mouthwash! and has to be the original i'm pretty sure) and avon's skin so soft, apparently its a really good product that helps repel the noseeums and the biting black house flies and those nasty green ones. mix them into a spray bottle and then apply all over. you can use copious amounts of the stuff because it smells great and is good for you your skin and it honestly works better than "off" with deet
