Hey guys! See you guys are all local and wanted to introduce myself.
My names Andrew and I just picked up my first jeep yesterday.

Bought it from a dude up in brick. He started to put on a 6.5" rough country lift but joined the Marines and never finished it. It also came with a Tomwods sye and cv axle.
I picked it up for what I feel was a good price but now I have to finish it. I've been tinkering on cars for a couple of years now, mainly VW's, but I'm not afraid to finish up the job. I have to install the shocks, extended brake lines, steering stablizer, and track bar. The only thing I'm scratching my head on is the track bar. I have a wheel puller (3 claw type) but I heard you need a pitman puller. I see harbor freight has them for like $8 and they're in EHT about 15 min from me.
As you can see in the pic's it looks redicious with those tiny tires on there. Reminds kind of the monster trucks when they're loading them onto the trailers. Well . . I took care of that today. I ordered some pro-comp 152 and 33x12.5 Mickey Thompson MTZ's aswell as some bushwacker flares to keep the po po off me. I see you're all from SJ, I hope one day I can tag along and wheel with you.

jeep looks good man , where exactly you from ? everything you listed is real easy to put on , you dont need anything speacial to chage the trac bar , you can use a pickle fork or just beat it off if your not reusing it , i have a rustys hd trac bar that came with a new frame mount so i never actually needed to take mine off

Thanks man, super stoked about it! I live in Galloway Township, Smithville to exact. Good to know about the pickle fork and BFH. I'm gonna have to get this thing on the road quickley. My wife didn't like the purchase and it's not getting any better with it just sitting there. Also I have this problem with my hood not latching but I think that has to broken pull release and frayed cable end held onto by channel locks! So I ordered that and I'm gonna wd-40 the latches up, hopefully that will fix that up.
just go to auto zone and get a pitman arm puller. they have a rent a tool program where u pay for the tool then when your done with it you return it and get your money back. i just got one to change my steering stabilizer
