welcome, if i were you and your trying to wheel in the rocks and not get blown over by a gust of wind on the highway, id suggest 6.5" as the absolute maximum lift amount, figure out what kind of wheeling your going to be doing then go from there, for the rocks 4.5" is the best with tires up to 40's and 6.5" is pushing it for the rocks, im at 5.5" now which i like alot but i feel when i was at 4.5" my jeep was a little more stable. But if your only going for strictly mud, lift it all you want, go 15" of lift if you want

yeah i kinda want it for everything. but mostly trails and rocks. the only real reason i wanted to do 8.5 is to run 35's with minimal trimming. but i did just see the bushwacker fender flares today, that look like you trim the whole stock fender flare off and goes on the rear door, kinda like the look of them.

if your planning on running 35's on stock axles with lockers you will have a bad time, trust me, i break stuff on the d30 locked on 32's, i dont like cut outs one bit but i do have the bushwacker flat flares
