What's up y'all! Finally joing cherokee forum after trolling for a few years. I'm from Manayunk/philly area, so I guess this is the right place for me? Seen a few lifted Cherokees around here. Here's mine, if anyone's seen me around...

Congrats on the new jeep. I'm a newbie also.

Why the injector question?
I got a 98 xj with 3.5" lift and 31.5" tires. I'm averaging 11mpg!! (Ouch)

I already did an oil change with air filter. Anything you guys recommend or I'm stuck with 11mpg.

I'm thinking on stepping up to 6.5" lift... but I gotta A Slip Yoke Eliminator with CV Driveshaft, which is gonna be fun.... lol

I do go speed limit. But my jeep sounds rough. And some odd rattling sound when I accelerate

They all sound a bit rough haha. When's the last time you had a tune up? Rattling could be a number of things, but I'm going to guess burnt up cat, or heat shield.

Its a 99 - I've had it for about 3 years now. It was black when I got it - and a whole lot more stock lol. I'm good with injectors - I actually get pretty decent milage (for a 4" lift and 31s with a driveway alignment) - maybe 17 or so if I had to guess. Anyone know of any spots to wheel close to philly besides the barrens and raush creek?

War eagle - I wish - I haven't gone in ages! Pheasant either now that I think about it...I've been getting into bow deer lately. The tan is actually duck boat/blind paint. Gotta upgrade to Gillespie coatings desert tan in the spring I think it will age better...
