Does anybody know somewhere not too overly far from me who will do gears for a good price? After what the local shop wants to do it for and the outrageous amount they quoted to weld brackets on a 8.8, coupled with the price of lockers, I am tempted to just buy complete expensive currie' s or something down the road and deal with what I have until then. My axles are out of the car right now so I could take them wherever

Clegg stage two rotating assembly, and stage 1 cam. Used original head, crank was .010 ground so I needed oversized bearings. Blocked bored .020. Used Mopar freeze plugs as they're the only ones That didn't leak on me.

Ripped the carpet out of the jeep today in efforts to bedline the floor. That turned out to be a bigger pita than I had imagined. Ended up having to put the seats back in so I can get to work tomorrow, maybe I can finish it tomorrow.
The jeep gets inspected on Tuesday, fingers crossed. I'm pretty sure I've got everything to legal spec since I molested it. I just hope it doesn't fail from the vibes since I still haven't installed the sye.
