sub chapter e section 175.77 heading f: a vehicle specified under this sub chapter shall be equipped with doors of a type used as original equipment. the doors shall open and close securely unless the vehicle has been manufactured or modified to the extent that there is no roof or side. this is the inspection manual so i guess if you have tube doors just put on the stock doors when gettin inspected. good thing i can inspect my own cars. i would assume that your local police wouldnt be jerks about tube doors either. i dont drive like a pissed off teenager so the cops dont hassle me anyways.
