LoL thats pretty good.

Has anyone ever had problems with their xj cutting out on them while driving, or stalling after they start it up? The other day driving back on the highway I though my transmission was acting up until i realized it was actually stalling and starting back up. Took it for a ride down the road yesterday, did the same thing expect maybe shutdown for 2-3secs then proceeded as normal, except it didnt make it up the driveway, it stalled out. Then started right back up and stalled again. 15mins later it started and I was able to pull it in the yard. From everything I've been reading it could be the crank position sensor, cam shaft sensor, or the emu (computer). Any ideas? Praying it is not the emu for how much that's going to cost.

Ok, Thanks! I'll have to check the iac and tps out this weekend when I get back home. I changed the plugs about 7,000 miles ago so they should be good, and I dont have wires or distributor...

will you run it when youre driving at night? Or do they crack down on offroad lighting where youre at?

Dunno I haven't had a chance to drive it on nighttime yet.

Around here they claim that any aux lights above headlights have to be covered while driving. So I think this is my loophole lol.

I got busted running mine on the road, knew the cop though he said don't worry about a cover because of the weird shape.... but then that state trooper that had a hard on for me told me it needed to be covered. ... so I made one from a tin sign lol

Any codes? Most sensors will throw one, but not always. And just because your MIL is not on doesn't mean there isn't one there.
