Rear bumper tire mounting question for us pa guys.
I know if I go with the rear tire bumper carrier I will have to relocate my license plate. My last car was a cavalier and I once got pulled over for the light above my license plate being out, I just replaced the bulb no biggie. Now, if I move my license plate with the tire carrier bumper it won't be illuminated.
Will I be running a risk with this? Or was the cop just being a dick? Is this really illegal in pa? Furthermore, does anybody offer a fix to this, like a kit to light it up or something? I would prefer if it was lit up anyway.
I'm asking because I would rather go with a bumper mount than a roof rack mount, it looks better, plus I wouldn't be able to park my xj in the garage anymore with the roof rack option.

You need to have a light for your plate... it shouldn't be that hard to fab something up... you would only need to run one wire and maybe just ground it to the swing out its self

It's a swing arm. Tire carrier there's a latch on the drivers side. A friend had a corner light from a Volvo so I put the wires to the Licence plate bulb. I unplug the light to swing the tire out.

Anyone need a sound bar that's in decent shape for an older model? Bought it and just don't feel like running an amp to power it because I have hatch speakers. Has no fabric on it but all wires and two speakers are there along with the light. I'd say $50 just so I can get some money back against it. PM me. If not ill eventually wire it up for my jeep.
