I'm on 3" and 31s right now and it can do pretty damn good offroad. You have to start somewhere. I like the lower cg bigger tire setup myself. 4.5" and 35" would be perfect

I shortened mine, came out perfectly balanced, can lengthen them to. But it's not going to be a 'professional drive shaft shop' job, but my welds are good and mine is holding up just fine.

It's basically the last main component I need done. Here's a picture of what it looks like right now. It's extremely short somehow? The guy before me had it running behind the 2.8 connected to the ford 8.8. Now with the install of the 4.0 drive line, it's extremely short..

If you wanted to get it professionally done (somewhat) locally, you could call up Quigley's in Manchester, PA. They do custom 4x4 van conversions but also have a driveshaft shop. I'm not sure of other shops around PA that do driveshafts.
