ehracing67,

I saw you posting in the same LED light bar thread as myself and wanted to ask you what company you bought your 40" from?

Lifetime LEDs. 40" was 520 with shipping. The two spots in the rear bumper were 70 each I think. I was going to put the four KCs back up there but that was near 350 too.

I never got a close look at your Cherokee but that looks nasty with that cage you built around the body. I've never seen anything like that.. is that for rolling or to tighten up the uni body? I'm really impressed that's way to cool man.

It's there for both. There's no more twist and it feels more solid. I also replaced the floor with 14ga diamond plate steel from side to side except for the tunnel. This is why there's a cage now.

Here's the inside cage part.

Wow that just went right around, Glad your family and xj made it through minus the battle scars. I guess giving it gas got you moving forward instead of continuing to roll? I got a lot to learn .. my mechanical ability is sound but 4x4 is all new to me. Im curious about RC park. I see they have a 101 course but is there any trails there that are basic that a mostly stock xj can handle just to have a little fun?

It would be cheaper/more fun to just go up with one of the members here when they go, and there is plenty for a stock xj to have fun with. But be warned, if you go once, there is no going back, you will be hooked haha
