do u get any crap from police or inspection ppl about not running flares?

 

i have them on now for inspection. over due since January lol but i got pulled over for speeding with them off in January on my way to ski round top and officer asked where my fenders where and i told him they fell off wheeling, which they did and they where in the back on my jeep. i havent had any problems tho, i have the ghetto garden flares on for now lol bushwackers are too expensive and break easily

 

I thought in PA that flares (or lack of) are an inspection item, not a ticketable offense

 

im live right by the giant in Carlisle...we have to get together and go wheeling sometime

i dont know of that many, just out in the mountains and some private land and then the mountains nears mechanicsburg.

 

In pa, for inspection and on the road, the entire tread of the tire must be covered, sidewalls however can stick out.....also, your flare can be no bigger then 3inches wide

 

so complicated, shouldnt even have a law for it
