**ATTENTION** EVERYONE WHO WENT TO RAUSCH CREEK ON 2/25/2012 PLEASE READ.
One of my many hobbies and interests is AV, particularly, vido editing and producing. I am making a movie(i.e. extended video) of our adventures up at the park last weekend. I have tons of video footage already, but you can never have too much.
If anyone who went up last weekend is interested in adding your footage to my video please let me know. In exchange for your footage, you will receive a DVD with a compilation of the events. The last "movie" I made for wheelin' was over 45 minutes long and a HUGE hit with all those who were involved. I would like to see this one break the 60 minute mark or more!
I need video content in any of the following formats, .AVI, .WMV, .MPEG, .MP4, and so on. >.DVX or .DVI I cannot use at this time, sorry.< I am looking for the RAW footage, not the edited or compiled content. Preferable in hi resolution. My camera shoots true HD video with true surround sound, and combining true HD with lo-res files does not flow properly, but I will do my best to make it work! Granted there was a lot of wind on Saturday, so I will be doing a lot of dubbing of sound. The DVD I produce will play on your home theater systems, or on your PC.
I use a mix of music from Country to Heavy metal and odd lots inbetween. The more footage I have, however, the longer the production time will be due to my current 55 hour a week work schedule, so please be patient with that.
There was well over 40 Jeeps that made it up there, so it would be cool to have ALL 40 show up on the video at least once. I will add credits where I can, but this is not a perfect process.
Anyone who is interested, please send me a private message here, or on FB if you saw this on the PA cherokee club pages. I will need, preferably, a thumb drive, or SD card, with the raw footage, or a DATA CD with the raw footage. IF you send me your thumb drive, or SD card, in the mail, I will mail it back, I promise. If you live close to Elizabethtown, you can swing by my work with a thumb drive and I will DL on to my PC there if you do not feel comfortable mailing it. All those who are interested in receiving a copy of the DVD, but do not have, or do not wish to donate, video footage, can also let me know. There will be a small cost for the DVD, but nothing major. If you donate footage, I will not charge for the burned DVD.
If enough people are interested in this, then I can make it a regular thing for every trip off-road. Something to consider for the future anyways. I hope to hear from all of you, and the sooner, the better! I have already begun to build the movie!

you can try, but most of the time, email accounts will not allow files larger then a few hundred kilobytes, and most video footage is stored in megabytes, some, like mine, even make it to gigabytes!.... but you can try.

In addition to this post, you want to see a good example, below is a video of the first time I took my XJ out after the lift was installed, this was me and Keith(1988_Cherokee) playing around....
And this is one of a trip up to Rausch Creek a few years back....
Just so that people can see that I am serious about this.... LMAO
