I was up there last weekend. It is a nice place to go if you are looking for some mud bogging. There is not really any trail riding. If you do go up there, be careful of the water, it is much deeper than it looks, I had water coming in the bottom of the doors.

LOL, my good friend lives on the other side of the underpass tunnel. He said one night at about 10PM he heard a rap on his door. He thought WTF?! Turned out it was 3-4 young guys. One of the dudes got new tires on his new 4Runner. Wanted to try them out. He sunk the damn thing in the river. They needed to use the phone.

He said it's not unusual to see a sunk vehicle from time to time.

Yep, going up there made me rethink buying a snorkel.

you realize thats my backyard pretty much right? i know that place like hte back of my hand.... its awesomly fun, and great fishing spots. most people dont know where the good spots are. unfortunately, a bunch of people ruined it for everyone and fish and game put up trail cams to bust people(this was a few years ago) so I stopped going down it. But, last I heard, the big ******** (officer smallwood......real name, not joking) doesnt work with fish and game anymore, or atleast not that area.

Yep, leave something go for long enough and nature will take it back.

it doesn't help that dcnr put some big boulders (that I can crawl over with my Jeep) right in front of the one entrance.... That pretty much stopped everyone else from going back there

majority of youtube videos for gut road consist of stereotypical 'mudders'...i like the idea of the boulders! Filters are underrated!!
