You got the drum broken free to the point that you could wiggle it, but not slide it off... Tried prying on it... Still not coming.... So you got the sledge to smash it off, in turn, breaking/delaminating the friction material from the shoe backing plates?

Am I right?

ha no the drum has a 3/4" groove in it and the shoes get in the groove, even with the adjuster loosened...have to beat if off ha

What's going on jeepers? I'm usually following more then posting. Thought I share my loss with y'all. I had my Xj bout 13 yrs basically my first vehicle. She was a part of the family she will be deeply missed.

Hope all is well. I think you posted about this a few months ago right after the accident. Wasn't it a women who cut you off and she was questionably intoxicated? If I remember correctly she was popping mints or something? Are you getting a new XJ?

Yea new project came from Ohio with minimum rust. Replaced a few spot that started to go. I just finished with the floors that why they look good. I thought the same when it was on the roof I was surprised on how it looked. Here's the new one. Only thing different is the interior being beige.

Any1 get any snow? Got a little dusting in my gardens. Almost more of a freezing rain.
