does anyone know what the stock tire size is? my 96 has 235's right now, ive seen everything from 195 to 215 to 225 to 235, was just curious. then i also had a question about what the highest would be safe to squeeze on there? would a 255 fit in stock wheel wells without too much rub?

85 percent of the time it's usually 225/75/15

255 might rub. I have 30" on mine and it doesn't rub

well a 255 in inches is 29.1 and my jeep is bone stock, so i just want to make sure its not going to rub badly, i just bought some General grabber AT2 and they had good reviews and looks beefy enough for mild offroading.

just wanted to make sure they would be ok, ill be getting a lift soon enough so i wanted somewhat bigger tires so it didnt look odd.

since I've yet to really get into jeep meets/shows, I was wondering if any of you guys would happen to know a group/site/page/whatever that has upcoming events and meetups in PA for jeeps. I'd like to go with my jeep but i'd also like to go for parts venues since I'm looking for some harder-than-they-should-be-to find factory parts.

I know, hah, i was referring to the Pittsburgh meet, I've got family out that way but York is no problem for me. The only real problem is my father told me that's the same weekend as AMC day at a drag strip down in Maryland that we always go to... honestly I hope he'll let this slide since we're going to the AMC National meet in Illinois this year.
