I like the B. Lee 3 link but, he uses small joints and that kinda sketches me out. Other than that, it looks like a great kit. If you have the means to make your own, I would highly recommend doing that. It's about half the cost of buying a kit.

I like my B Lee's 3 link
* Edit * I haven't gotten to put my 3 link to the proper test yet, I haven'y even gotten to mall crawl yet... But the little that it has seen pavement, it handles quite nice on the road.

Your question was to vague..... Are we talking triangulated 4 link? If so, 4 link ftw.... I run a home made 3 link though, it's pretty awesome.... Triangulated 4 links are difficult to package in the front of an xj.

alright lets update my question. For a high school kids budget what would be the best "long arm" which I like 3 link anyway... what would be the best way to go and I've though about building my own being I am a machinist and know how to weld

I could go on for days, but it's easier if you just ask specific questions.....I hate typing a lot on my phone

I would say you have 2 options. radius arm, or 3 link. 3 link is obviously the superior option, but radius arms will handle well on the street, and off-road if designed correctly, just like a 3 link needs to be designed correctly. Radius arm is easy to package, you only need 2 frame side mounts, and can utilize your factory axle mounts. 3 link, you need to decide on driver side or passenger side upper, figure what size tire you want to run, calculate separation measurements for the axle and at the body for proper anti squat/dive.

still sticking with 3 link now as stated be for b lee's kit and then I was also looking at clayton's 3 link but now let me get more specific I never drive hi-way but I do drive roughly 45 miles a day on backroads to work and stuff but when properly setup how would it normally handle? squat/dive? And now heres another thing to throw into the mix what is your opinion on y link
