Official check arm thread
It seems there is a check arm epidemic lately in the north atlantic, mostly maryland. So here is a thread dedicated to talking about the pros and cons, tensile and shear strength and where to find check arms, who has them, who doesn't, are your door hinges falling off , what colors you painted yours etc... Anything relating to check arms.
