Can anyone please help me out, my water pump started leaking today. I live in an apartment so I cant work on my Jeep on the street. Would any one be able to give me some space for a day so I can replace it? Also if you have done this before and can help me out that would be more awesome since I have never done it. I will throw in some money for your help, and I am also willing to buy a case of beer. I am looking for someone on LI or Westchester county, I can also go a bit further up north too.

Hey guys, another long island XJ checking in. Just picked up this 99 because I drive 24k miles a year and I didn't want that all going on the Evo.

I've been off roading on the island a few times in my old Forester (hot water st, dirt pit off of exit 55 on LIE, coram sand pit) but after too many close calls with the law I'm done illegal wheeling. Got a Suffolk county outer beach permit.

Im down for a trip to RC or NJ pine barrens any weekend. Lemme know.

Thanks man. I got it for 2700. It has 215K miles on it. Supposedly all highway miles according to the previous owner. I actually just took it on a 700 mile round trip upstate and it took it like a champ. No issues whatsoever.

That is super clean looking. What are those rims from? Are they stock TJ rims from like 05? Did they bolt right on without adapters? I see a set on CL for cheap but didnt want to have to mess with adapters.

They are 16" Rubicon rims from a TJ. They bolt right on, no adapters, no spacers. Those tires are 245/75.

Nice I'm about to pull the trigger on a "99 Classic and that is the look I want to have when I'm done. What lift did you install or did you buy it that way and what year(s) Rubicon did those wheels come off of?

I bought it exactly the way it looks in the picture. So not sure what lift kit or what year the wheels came from. From what I can tell, it looks like an even 3 inch lift with unbranded ebay shocks, springs, and rear AAL. They didn't do a very good install though. Looks like a homebrew gone wrong. Looking to upgrade to a 4.5 inch lift anyways.

Can anyone recommend a decent shop in LI to install a lift kit? I went to RMS and Truck Shop but their prices are insane.

Anybody in the Cortland/Syracuse area? My suspension is shot and I need someone to install an OME lift kit. I haven't ordered the kit but I really need it done soon.
