wow, I lost count on the list. It's clear that a lot of people have planned to show up ... as of now. Dennis - the pre-planned CB channel is a great idea for latecomers. Can we decide on say ... CB channel #9. No reason for selecting this, just a number. If anyone knows of a reason not to use 9, then please post up a different channel. Also, since I'm likely to be late, it wouldn't be a bad idea to call someone so they know I'm still coming. Any phone numbers?
I'm at 60-nine 7zero3 seven324.
Anyone else want to post a phone #? I have found that it's a good idea to be able to reach someone in case 1) you don't have a CB, 2) you're running late, or 3) you get lost. Every little bit helps. (Yeah - Especially since I've been known to get lost on the 2 mile drive home from work
. Yes, I'm "directionally challenged" ... but I do know the way to Atsion!

I agree with the mud thing tho - there's no such thing as "clean mud". I must say however, that I'm with Rooster on his previous post. Was hoping for zero0 mud. Oh well ... unlikely I'll be wheeling anyway. I can't afford to break something right now. Getting ready for the axle swap & that's pricey enuff as it is.

.)CB channel 9 has been designated by the FCC as an emergency contact channel.
So go with 10, OK.
If people actually hang out till 1130, I'll be there by then.
If I make it, I can lead the narrow trail group, you know, those folks not afraid of loosing paint.
Some roads near me get very little traffic and branches take over.
One more thing, last week a Park Police person checked inspection stickers, didn't ask for registration or license.

There seems to be a descent amount of people wanting to go!!! might want to consider if alot of people want to wheel splitting into two groups. The ones that want to get some mud action going!!
and the ones that want to stay dry! there are plenty of trails that are pretty dry and only a couple puddles.
As for me I am looking for the MUD.
Dennis461 knows the trails inside and out.
As dennis stated last week (I was there) the ranger was good about things and just looked at inspection. But made sure a couple times we werent going out to 1/4 mile(which we werent). Be respectful and they will show respect back.

I'll be missin this trip tomorrow boys..i was looking forward to it and had the cherokee out wheelin thursday...Had to do a lot of turn arounds due to massive amounts of water(out in Wharton). I was hoping my new rear leafs would've been on, but not the case. Also, I need to get front recovery points on the jeeper, a CB would be a nice addition also lol. These gas prices aren't helping any either haha.
Enjoy the trip, hope to see some good pics! I'll make it out for the next one!
