Lift should be happening soon (well, you know what 'soon' means on an XJ to-do list). I'm looking for the best price on shocks and tires.

I've been saying 2"-3" bastard pack, but I might go up to 4" if the springs allow. It's just too tempting. My latest lead is a set of 3+1 leafs from a '99 S10 Blazer . The guy says he bought it new, and he's never hauled or towed, but I won't see the springs til I get home next week.

I want five (5) 31" Firestone Destination M/Ts. I know a guy who said he can get me tires at cost, but I don't think his company sells these. I'm still waiting for a response.

For shocks, I don't know what I'm looking for. My stock shocks are toast and my leaf springs are broken, so I'm accustomed to a terrible ride. I think any shock would be an improvement, and I don't care if I get the best.

Anyone know of any online or local sales? I'm military, too, if you know places that give discounts. I appreciate any help or advice.

Question for Doc. What type of co-ax cable do you recommend for cb to antenna? Will Rg-6 work? I've got some surplus from work. Probably enough to do the wire in mine & clowns. Fingers crossed!
