I had them on 3.5" and the rear was okay. Fronts were maxed out

I'm Nick, from Rising Sun MD, or Cecil County have an 88 Cherokee and a 94 Cherokee just about both stock but heres the 94,

Depends. 6-ton stands are way overkill for my YJ, but they don't reach the frame. I can even drive over them when they're collapsed.

Advantages to heavy stands:
Weight capacity
Height (sometimes)

Advantages to lighter stands:
Smaller footprint (more space to lay/work)
Height (sometimes)
