I've been planning to get a truck once I sell the Camaro (for various reasons). I think I've narrowed it down to a '74-79 F100/150/250 SuperCab (extended cab) with a 300 I6. Anybody have good/bad experiences with these or maybe know someone who would trade one for a 5.7L '91 Camaro?

looks like it gets pretty good mpg's. might not clear the parking ramp at home though.
i'm still thinking mazda mpv. if i want to make it bad *** i'll just put a class I hitch on the back, some air shocks and rattle can "rape van" on the side.
will pry keep rolling the xj though. there's a saying in finance that "the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent." i think you could say of a well maintained xj that "it will remain reliable transportation longer than you care to keep getting 14-15 mpg city" ...but a used minivan buys a whole lotta tanks of gas.
about 65 tanks of gas

300 is a beast like the 4.0, but how about parts?? seems to me, it wouldn't have the parts availability of sumpin else?? I mean, I have some parts for my 01 F350 that are obsolete?

Theres plenty of good places to get them around here, but the adoption fees are $300+ and then you have to pay all the shots and what not. I'd rather get one from someone that I know a little bit Bout.
