Saves gas and adds power because you can push with your feet.

So i bought this hitch and I didnt realize what kind it was until i actually saw it the next morning in the day light. It is one of the 'universal' hitches. I know it will fit on the jeep fine, but where the ball hitch insert part would be really low.

If I cut off the hitch part of it and just bolted the actually square piece to my jeep, would that still be a good recovery point?

No. Maybe flip the center section over if there's room

Id have to cut my bumper to make it work like that. Good idea though.

I just want to be able to wrap a strap around it for pulling.
